![]() From Ferals to Juggernauts, you never know what you might come across in an out-of-control infestation. If these infestations become too high in severity players will encounter more dangerous foes. Meaning players will find even higher numbers of undead within infestations. If a location is already infested with zombies, these new hordes will now reinforce existing infestations. Once a Plague Heart is awakened it will begin to regularly launch out hordes of infected until a player manages to destroy it. These hordes will begin to wander throughout the map creating and reinforcing infestations. When this happens these hearts will begin spewing out Infesting Hordes. These dormant Plague Hearts will eventually become Awakened Plague Hearts. The biggest change coming with Update 33 is that Plague Hearts will now start out in a “dormant” state when you initially spawn into the map. Update 33 Changes Plague Hearts And Infestations In State Of Decay 2 It appears players will once again have to adapt and survive the ever-evolving landscape of the game. Now with Update 33: Heart Attack being live on both PC and Xbox platforms. State Of Decay 2 looks drastically different than it did when it was released back in 2018. ![]() They are not small updates either, quite often fundamental aspects of the game are constantly evolving over time. Despite releasing over 5 years ago, State Of Decay 2 is still constantly being updated by developers Undead Labs.
